WHAT: Tonight on HDNet’s “Inside MMA,” former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight champion BJ Penn joins UFC Middleweight Chael Sonnen on the panel to discuss the latest MMA news of the week with Kenny and Bas. Topping the list on this week’s program is a review of the post-fight melee at April 17 Strikeforce event – including commentary from the panelists. Penn also tells the panel about losing his belt to Frankie Edgar and what the status is on a possible re-match. He also gives some additional background on his new book, “Why I Fight.” Chael Sonnen, who is also currently running for State Representative in Oregon, talks about Anderson Silva’s antics at the recent UFC 112 and his strategy for beating him in their upcoming showdown, targeted for this August.

i realy wish the ufc would give anderson silva an opponent of his own caliber,not another pushover.dont get me wrong i like sonnen an his humorous comments but that wont save him.he is one of the best wrestlers in the game but to suceed hes gonna have to ge close enough to silva to take him down and when he gets in arm reach of silva its good night irene
