Hey loyal readers!  As some of you may know (and most of you probably don’t know) I like to do a live twitter commentary of the UFC events as they happen.  Tonight will be the first time I mention it here, but it would be pretty cool to get a little feedback from the readers.

Tonight is the first UFC event on the Versus channel, so if you are tuning in and you want to see what I have to say about it here is my twitter account:

Also I know several people don’t have the Versus channel so if you want to get quick updates on the fights, I’ll be trying to pump them out as fast as they happen.  I’ll be posting my predictions, round scores, observations and any random thoughts that pop in my head.  The full card is after the jump.

The fights tonight that I’ll be guaranteed to be commentating on will be:

Light Heavyweight bout: Brandon Vera vs. Jon Jones
Heavyweight bout: Junior dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
Heavyweight bout: Cheick Kongo vs. Paul Buentello
Middleweight bout: Alessio Sakara vs. James Irvin

Other fights that could be potentially commentated from the preliminary card are:
Lightweight bout:  Clay Guida vs. Shannon Gugerty

Light Heavyweight bout: Eric Schafer vs. Jason BrilzI really hope we get a couple quick fights so I can commentate on the Guida fight and I’m especially looking forward to  Brandon Schaub.  I thought he had a lot of potential and I want to see how far he has developed as a fighter since making the finals of Season 10 of TUF.
