Ken Shamrock to Fight Seth Petruzelli

January 4th, 2010 · 3 Comments

Many fight fans will be excited to hear that “The Worlds Most Dangerous Man”  Ken Shamrock will be returning to MMA in a fight against the man who beat Dan Severn and dropped Kimbo Slice , Seth “The Silverback” Petrucelli. The two are set to face off for 5 rounds on March 6th, 2010 at the International Unlimited Fighting, Return of BULUC event in Cancun Mexico.  Word is that UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock has been suspended for the past year due to a positive steroid test following his submission win over Ross Clifton at the War Gods event back February 13th, 2009.  Seth Petrucelli, made his name by competing in the Ultimate Fighter 2 reality TVseries and by his 14 second KO of internet star and now UFC fighter Kimbo Slice.  Since Peturcelli secured a TKO (punches) win over Chris Baten at the Art of Fighting: Damage event on August 22, 2009.

Although Ken Shamrock has the obvious experience advantage, Seth Petruzelli has a certain age advantage.  There is a 15 year age difference between the two fighters.  Petruzelli is only 30 years old and Shamrock is 45, which is getting up there for any professional athlete.  If Petruzelli can keep it standing, there is a good chance he can get a win in this match up.  If the fight goes to the ground, Shamrock is always dangerous and should not be over looked for a potential GNP or submission win.
