Matt Hughes was limited in many ways. I believe because he stuck to his wrestling and ground and pound fighting, it was possible for fighters to figure out how he fights and come up with strategies to beat him. Fighters like GSP are so well rounded, how do you come up with a game plan? Do you take it to the ground? Do you stand up with the guy? He is so well rounded it is almost impossible to take him out of his element.
