With UFC 100 shortly approaching, the UFC last night premiered the first of a five part series of the top 100 UFC fights. The first show which counted down from 100 to 75 included some classics such as BJ Penn vs. Matt Serra  and some more recent fights like  Chuck Liddell vs. Rashad Evans. As an MMA fan for several years, its incredible to think that the sport has come this far. The UFC with its great ownership and Dana White with his perseverance are largely responsible for keeping MMA alive and making it not only a mainstream attraction, but a legitimate sport with world class athletes. Now that UFC 100 is only days away, the UFC is ingeniously increasing the suspense with this five part series of top 100 UFC fights. I’m almost as excited to see the top 10 fights as I am to see GSP take on Thiago Alves on Saturday…almost. And when UFC 100 is all said and done, I’m willing to bet at least one of those fights will make it on the next UFC top 100 fights list. I can’t wait!
