What else can you say except that things look pretty sucky for Tim Sylvia right now. He just got knocked out in an MMA fight by Ray Mercer, the boxer. Now, if this was a straight up boxing match the news wouldn’t have been quite so astonishing, but it was MMA. None the less, it happened and it doesn’t look good on Sylvia’s MMA record or for MMA as a sport.

We’ve waited years to see what would happen when a pro boxer fought a top level mma fighter. Was it worth the wait?
For a boxing fan it was!!!!
Ray Mercer’s almost 50 years old and hasn’t been relevant in over a decade in the sport of boxing. Also, it’s pretty obvious that Mercer wouldn’t be able to beat a top boxer. So just imagine what an elite, prime boxer would do to these mma chumps.
