GSP’s Overdubs Makes “Never Surrender” Look Cheap

April 23rd, 2009 · No Comments

I realize that in Martial Arts flicks, it is very common to have overdubs on the voices of the characters, primarily when you have actors who speak one language and the movie is to be in another language. However, it tends to make a movie look low quality, when 99% of the movie has not overdubs and then all the sudden, you have a part with terrible overdubs. This clip shows an overdub they did on one of George St. Pierre’s parts in the move “Never Surrender“. Apparently this was the best solution the movie producers could come up with due tight time constraints they had to take the movie to market.
