According to sources, Justin Levens, veteran UFC, WEC and IFL fighter has been found dead along with his wife Sarah Levens in their Laguna Niguel home. The mother of Sarah, found both of them in bed, dead from gunshot wounds on Wednesday and called 911. Police say that the scene looks like Justin killed his wife and then turned the gun on himself.

Apparently life had been a bit bumpy for Justin over the past few months. He was scheduled on an Affliction fight card back in July that was scrapped at the last minute due to event delays. Justin then, tested positive for Oxymorphone during prefight testing and was suspended for a six months. It was also said by police, that there had been several 911 calls to Justin’s house in recent months. One call was said to be a drug overdose call.

This is a sad day. Justin was only 28 years old and seemed to have a recoverable future in MMA with a record of 7-2. His wife was also just a young woman of 25 years. What happened, anger, rage, let down? It always blows my mind that things can seem so bad to people that they would want to harm someone they love as well as themselves. Murder and suicide solve nothing. He should have went to the gym and took his aggressions out on a heavy bag.
