Everybody wants a piece of the California Kid, Urijah Faber. There’s probably no bigger accomplishment right now in the featherweight division than to be able to beat him. Wagnney Fabiano has set his sights on The Kid and may just get his chance. Word on the street is that Fabiano has signed on with the WEC and has big aspirations. Here’s the story.
MMA Junkie:
IFL featherweight champion Wagnney Fabiano, the last remaining unsigned champion from the now-defunct organization, has signed with WEC according to the Brazilian website Tatame.com.
Fabiano won four bouts in the IFL’s lightweight division before dropping to his natural weight of 145 pounds. The 33-year-old was undefeated in his time with the organization, winning six straight bouts. Five of Fabiano’s wins came by submission, and only one of the six contests made it past the first round.

I like the kid! he is quick, powerful, innovative, and proved he could take a punch with little evil. however, it would be nice to see more on par challenges to his belt. the kid has a good one coming with Mike Brown…we’ll see if Fabiano can challenge his way to a belt bout.
